GI – behind the scenes

Developing the Gamealogical Insititute – a behind-the-scenes Journal

NO Success without my Sons

Well, there is no way that the gamealogical institute would have been as successful as we were without the help of my Sons. The Chess set took way longer that i would have thought – but was very popular at the Con and played most of the time it was out.

Secondly, I had so much going on that there needed to be at least 3 of us at the booth area most of the time. Giant Chess, Usurper field testing, the GI Triathlon and the GI booth itself explaining and demonstrating our games.

We had to make more games Saturday morning, when we saw the initial response Friday to our games was pretty good.

Sales:
12 Scarabs and Scorpions
12 Virulant
5 Tacticum

prizes or give away
3 virulant
1 Tacticum.

Usurper:
We are settled on the rules now and just need to get a supplier for the wood, canvas tote, and get a feel for shipping cost.

The GIGITH challenge:
went well, the 2 players teamed up to solve it and said it was one of the best hunt’s they had done in along time!
