GI invited to attend PlayOnCon 2009!

Well, I am going to keep jumping out there and seeing what happens.
When I “planned” for Imagicon one of my biggest goals was to get email addresses so that I could reach out with a GI newsletter and special promotions. I failed miserably at that, BUT going to the Con forced me to get all of my games ready before the con – which was good since I sold a lot, well, at least more than I expected. So this time I really need to nail down an effective strategy for getting email addresses.
Also at this Con I am going to try my hand at doing some Round Table / workshops. I am doing 2 this time and they are both going to be designed to be worthwhile for those attending and provide the GI with good “market research”. One is about games and learning objectives at school, while the other one will be about Games and the sense of wonder and adventure.
Giant chess will of course be there (this, along with things like the GI Triathlon and providing workshops help me make sure that I am helping a convention and not just showing up to sell stuff.)
