Part of the “In the Know” crowd

It has been a BUSY couple of weeks and I may be able to cover it all here.
The highlights are:
– wrote a fun story for “Dodger’s journals” about Calakmul expedition with pictures. The pictures all came from an old corps of engineers dam at Oak Mountain State Park. the coolest pic is where I added highlight lines to “show” where the old temple floor used to be.
- completed an FAQ about Tacticum Rules with some nice “flavor text”.
- with those 2 complete, I was able to get the latest Gnu News sent out.
- Created a new dice game specifically for a volunteer fire department benefit concert the GI went to. Oddly enough, its called the “Gameville Volunteer FD”!
Now, back to the “in the know” crowd; I finally got the Institute, Tacticum and Scarab & Scorpions all posted to the BoardGameGeek web site. This site is a defacto “go to” place if you want to know about any games. This adds some legitimacy for many folks that we are comfortable letting anyone know about what we have and are doing.
NEXT UP:
( my real life budget may not allow for these unless I really know I can make some money…)
- Game Con Memphis: I would have to be there as a vendor, but would be able to do a Tacticum tournament and demos, possible a round table or two.
- Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA). Still waiting to know how i can participate. working with one of the game room organizers.
Onward,
Tony
